Just when I thought kickstarter couldn't get any worse projects, a wild project appears. I've been a fan of Minecraft for a while as it's an interesting game with a good price and allows for the player to be creative. In addition it is simple and easy to pick up.
The one thing I've never liked about the Minecraft community is the Yogscast. The show is just obnoxious and irritating and I've never understood the appeal. Now it appears that they are trying to exploit their popularity to crowd-source funding for a rip-off game that is essentially a copy of Minecraft. I hypothesize that their primary motivation is their irritation that Mojang doesn't treat them like gods. Whatever you do, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PROJECT. I realize this and my previous post have been fairly negative, so I'll do my best to be positive in the future. I have found some good projects that I think deserve funding on kickstarter so I might talk about them a bit.
